We are regular people. People with struggles, sorrows, joys, wins, losses, and stories.
Our story of the past few years has been filled with a LOT. A lot of cancer, a lot of chemo, a lot of worry, a lot of stress, and a lot of dogs and their humans.
We love each and every one of your dogs. The quirky ones, the shy ones, the funny ones, the quiet ones, the big ones, the old ones, the pups, ALL of them. And we love every one of you who have trusted us with them. We have forged real friendships, and we consider our Zen Zoo family to be just that - extended family.
The cancer battle is behind us (right now - hoping it stays that way). The spinal surgery is behind us now.
And in real people terms, we’ve decided it’s time for us to LIVE.
We will be embarking on an adventure that will take us traveling with our very own dogs, and no other responsibilities. We want to experience all that our amazing clients have experienced while we watched your pooches. We want to see new places, explore, play, spoil our pups, eat great food, get tans, sleep in, and focus on all of the good things.
While we are excited about where our path is leading, the bittersweet part is that we, Zen Zoo, will not be taking any more bookings after June. We will not be onboarding any new clients. We are closing up shop.
Thank you, thank you, thank you. We hope to maintain and strengthen the friendships we’ve made during our Zen Zoo era.
We've compiled a list of local dog care providers as a resource for you. We have no direct experience and therefore cannot recommend one specific place, but the list we have provided are all reputable. We encourage you to ask and explore. There are places that may not be included on our list, and we encourage you to ask for referrals on social media or from your neighbors!
